Tessa Hulls: Giving Voice To The Arctic
Don’t miss this special event hosted by Friends of Alaska National Wildlife Refuges, featuring Tessa Hulls.
Tuesday, October 20th, 5–6 p.m. AKDT (see all the ways to watch—in person and online—at the link below).
Join Friends of Alaska National Wildlife Refuges for Giving Voice to the Arctic Refuge, an opportunity to hear from Tessa Hulls, Pulitzer Prize-winning author, artist, and adventurer, about her experience packrafting the Marsh Fork of the Canning River and the powerful connections between people, place, and the Arctic Refuge.
Tessa will share stories from her unique Arctic Refuge artist residency, explore the Refuge’s history, and reflect on how experiencing this extraordinary landscape inspired her to take action. Attendees can also get a free copy of her illustrated zine, One River: Many Braids.
We’re grateful to Friends of Alaska National Wildlife Refuges for bringing people together to celebrate and protect Alaska’s extraordinary wild places.
