The Trump administration is now accepting bids to lease 1.56 million acres of the Arctic Refuge for oil and gas drilling.

Before the lease sale, you have a chance to speak up.

On May 14 at 5:00 PM ET / 1:00 PM AK, Defenders of Wildlife is hosting a virtual town hall in response to plans to open the Arctic Refuge’s Coastal Plain to drilling.

Drilling here is risky and damaging. This is one of the most fragile places on Earth, and it shouldn’t be up for sale.

This town hall will share key information and give the public a chance to speak out and show strong support for protecting the Arctic Refuge.
